SCHOOLS PROGRAMME
Supporting the wellbeing of young people is a priority
This programme has been developed in response to the huge mental health issues faced by young people caused by this global pandemic. We are dedicated to supporting children, parents, teachers and mental health service providers to help people navigate these significant challenges we face.
We work with Head Teachers, Deputy Heads, Heads of Year, parents and communities to help to strategise, design, plan and deliver bespoke wellbeing programmes for teachers, students and parents.
These take the form of Interactive and Immersive Learning experiences, integrated into the weekly schedule and to various different curriculums.
We provide services both online and in person.

SUMMARY
Children learned several techniques for wellbeing and self-care in an inclusive way.
Children were given guided meditation and sound meditation sessions with several classes, with students and teachers lying down and experiencing a deeper journey within, producing calm and relaxed feelings and encouraging creativity.
These immersive learning sessions were designed to teach several wellbeing approaches, skills and techniques in a way that would appeal to each age group. The sessions were cross-curricular, engaging and participatory.
Being in New Zealand, we also tailored the sessions to appeal to the spiritual sensibilities of the Maori culture.
We ran sessions for students as well as teachers and integrated these well into the normal school week.
